Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan told the Islamabad High Court on Thursday that the party does not claim Imran Khan’s official X account.
During a hearing on a petition seeking the closure of the account, Justice Arbab Muhammad presided over the proceedings. Gohar appeared in person along with Imran Khan’s lawyers Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry and Shamsa Kiani. Officials from the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) were also present.
Justice Tahir told Gohar that the court had not summoned him personally and that he could have sent a written reply. Gohar then said that the situation had changed and asked for time to submit a response.
The judge agreed and told him to file whatever he wished to say in writing. Gohar asked for more time so he could submit a detailed reply.
The court accepted his request and adjourned the hearing until November 23.
